Here, every piece has a story.

La Maison Nu.aj was born from a return to basics: that of materials, gestures, and the time taken to create.

With a Professional Baccalaureate in Crafts & Arts and Crafts, I was able to deepen my knowledge through enriching experiences as a Costume Designer - Decorator for cabarets, associations & large tourist companies for several seasons in France and internationally.

After several years working in other fields such as event management & hospitality, I naturally returned to my first loves. Sewing, learned alongside my grandmother in her wedding dress shop. Then nurtured by a sensitive eye for materials, passed down by my mother, a decorator at the time, notably for luxury Fashion & Beauty houses.

Inspired by travels, the ocean, and my ties to Mauritius, I create sunny, free, and unique designs.

Each garment is designed from carefully selected, transformed, and reinvented second-hand textiles.

Nothing is mass-produced.

Each piece is unique, conceived as a meeting between an existing material and a new story to be written.
